Essex Community Players moves into its 52nd Season with two powerhouse dramas ~ Lillian Hellman’s glimpses into the lives of the Hubbard family at the turn of the century: “The Little Foxes” and its prequel “Another Part of the Forest”, which will run concurrently on alternating nights.
Audition Dates
Monday through Thursday, July 6th - 9th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Essex Junction, VT. Memorial Hall will be closed to the public July and August. The productions are being directed by Brett Thompson.
Roles for 14 men & 9 women are available between the two plays.

Scheduling
The plays will be performed for THREE weekends, Thursdays – Sundays, September 17th to 20th, 24th to 27th, and October 1st to 4th at Memorial Hall in Essex Center. Each cast will rehearse twice a week (either Sunday & Wednesday or Monday & Friday evening) and perform two shows each weekend (alternating nights). Cross-casting between shows will be considered.
Perusal Scripts Available!
There are 4 copies of each script available for perusal at the Essex Town Library, located on the corner of Routes 15 and 128, across the intersection from the Memorial Hall theatre. These may be read at the library, but can not be checked out.
Group Read-Throughs
Group Readings for those looking to become acquainted with the scripts will be held on June 23rd and 30th at Essex Memorial Hall.
